Welcome to the LSE Observer

Thanks for coming to the LSE Observer. As a student at this institution, I found that although there were several outlets for information about goings-on at the school, I was often left wanting of news from day to day. After I realized that there was no blog covering the LSE generally (although there are some that focus in more specifically on subjects or academic departments), I figured I might as well start one myself. It probably didn’t hurt that setting up this blog provided me with a diversion from the various essays hanging over my head from the Michaelmas term.

I hope to make this blog a go-to source for news and commentary on the LSE community, from coverage of the various events that take place around school to updates on the activities of the Student Union and issues concerning students generally. Please bear with me during these opening weeks, as those essays will have to be sorted at some point, but I expect to be updating this blog regularly, particularly beginning the week of January 21st.
